Marvin Wilkerson 1963 – 2016 Marvin Wilkerson passed away at his home in Moberly March 27, 2016. He was 52 years of age. Marvin Wayne Wilkerson was born July 17, 1963 in Fayette, MO to Clarence and Ora Belle (Wells) Wilkerson. Marvin was a true athletic fan that enjoyed all sports whether at Fayette High School, Central Methodist University or watching the Missouri Tigers. He was an avid swimmer and bowler winning several medals in the Special Olympics. He had worked in the shelter workshops in Macon and Moberly for a number of years. He also worked on a paper route and was a greeter at Hardies. Marvin was always in good spirts, cheering his home town teams, whenever there was a home game. He attended Heritage Baptist Church in Moberly. He is survived by one brother, Dean (Kathy) Wilkerson of Pilot Grove, MO, one sister, Valerie (Gerald) Messer of Glasgow, one Aunt, Betty Tucker of New Franklin, two nephews, Matthew and Michael Wilkerson, step-niece, Amanda Meyer, a number of great nieces and nephews, special friends, Lea & Denell Stein and the staff and residents at RJD. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service from Noon to 2 PM. Burial will be in the Boonesboro Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Fayette High School Athletic Dept. or to the funeral home for expenses.
