Glasgow resident, Sadie Tylor, passed away at Ashley Manor in Boonville, MO on January 26, 2018. She was 84 years of age. Sadie W. Taylor was born in Glasgow, MO, November 17, 1934, the daughter of Lloyd and Levenia (Tolson) Cason. She attended Dalton High School. In 1957, Sadie married William Robert Taylor. Together, they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death February 10, 2004. Sadie worked as a production quilter at Kellwood Factory in Glasgow for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. She was a lifelong member of Lewis Chapel Community Church in Glasgow. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. Sadie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Paul (Valerie) Taylor of Boonville, MO; three grandchildren, Steven, Alicia and Raymond; six great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Baldridge of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Lorrine Wright of Kansas City, MO; and special friends, Jacque Smith and Carl Cason, Jr. Sadie is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Sadie was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Glen Taylor; two sisters, Geraldine Wilson and Alice Edwards; and five brothers, William, Lloyd, Paul, Dallas and Leroy. A funeral service honoring Mrs. Taylor will be 1 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, with Rev. Earl Howell officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Lincoln Cemetery in Glasgow. Memorial contributions are suggested to Lewis Chapel Community Church or Lincoln Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
