Armstrong resident, Ethan Fuemmeler, 30, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident. Ethan Andrew Fuemmeler was born November 2, 1989 in Moberly, Mo., a son to David C. and Susie (Watts) Fuemmeler. He attended Glasgow High School. Ethan worked as a laborer in the agriculture industry, most recently for MFA. Ethan, along with his brothers, spent many summers working in the family tobacco plots. Ethan had a special love for animals and pets, he enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his niece and nephew, Charlotte and Augustus. Ethan was known to drop anything at a moment’s notice, always willing to lend a helping hand for his friends and family, at no cost. Survivors include his parents, David C. and Susie Fuemmeler of Armstrong, Mo.; two brothers, Zachary and Caleb Fuemmeler, both of Armstrong, Mo.; niece, Charlotte Fuemmeler and nephew, Augustus Fuemmeler; and grandmother, Margaret Watts of Fayette, Mo. Ethan is also survived by numerous relatives. Following social distancing and CDC guidelines, friends and family are encouraged to visit Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow and pay respects from 9 AM – 1:30 PM on Friday, May 29, 2020. Family will receive friends an hour before the service starting at 1:30 PM. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM, Friday, May 29, 2020 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, with Fr. Paul Hartley officiating. Burial will follow the service at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow with Zach and Caleb Fuemmeler, Curtis Hammons, Josh Suttner, Gary Kunze and Ryan Roberts serving as pallbearers. Bradley Monnig and Logan McMillan will serve as honorary pallbearers.
