Millersburg, Mo. resident, Rowena White, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on November 7, 2020. Rowena Ardel White was born in Forest Green, Mo. on February 24, 1939, a daughter to the late Virgil and Katherine (Kramm) Sanders. She graduated from Salisbury High School in 1956. On March 5, 1960, she married the love of her life, Wendell Victor White. Together they enjoyed just over 39 years of marriage. Wendell preceded her in death on March 19, 1999. Rowena truly loved and supported her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them participate in all their activities, particularly the sporting events. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful provider. Rowena was a devout Lutheran, and an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia, Mo. Survivors include her two sons, Bill (Phyllis) White of Fulton, Mo. and Jim (Angie) White of Centralia, Mo; two daughters, Trish (Jeff) Penberthy of Fayette, Mo. and Millie Moser of Auxvasse, Mo; brother, Charley (Judy) Sanders of St. Martin, Mo.; eight grandchildren, BJ, Cenedra, Christina, Matthew, Dalton, Jason, Amanda and Clara; seven step-grandchildren, JD, Aliza, Brandon, Lindsay, Angela, Aaron and Kayla; five great-grandchildren, Alro, Olivia, Hudson, Mallory and Koval. She is also survived by numerous step-great and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Leroy Sanders. A funeral service for Rowena will be held 10 AM, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, Mo., with Pastor Joseph McCalley officiating. Visitation will be held the evening before the service from 6-8 PM, Monday November 9 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow.
