Anna Collins, 86, of Glasgow, Mo. passed away peacefully at her home on January 9, 2021. Anna Marie Collins was born December 28, 1934 in Moberly, Mo., a daughter to the late Barry and Bernice (Mann) Cronan. She graduated from Moberly high school with the class of 1952. Anna furthered her education earning an associate’s degree from Moberly Area Community College. She worked as a quality control specialist for Orscheln Products for a number of years, retiring in 1985. On August 28, 2000, she married Donnie Collins in Arkansas. Together, they’ve enjoyed over 20 years of marriage filled with laughter and adventure. Anna loved gardening, cooking and her family. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband of the home, Don; five children, Christopher (Sue) Hunt, Tara (Ed) Kuhne, Leonard (Terri) Hunt, Lisa Miller and Barry (Heather) Courtney, three step children Matthew (Shelly) Collins, Don Collins Jr, and Jeff Collins. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lewis; a son-in-law, Billy Miller; grandson, Shawn McCollum; and a step-son, Chris Collins. A memorial service honoring the life of Mrs. Collins will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, Mo., with Deacon Chris Sago officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville at a later date.
