Gilliam resident, Charlie Lee, 36, passed away suddenly February 6, 2021 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO. Charlie Wilson Lee was born November 3, 1984 in Paducah, KY, a son to Charles “Chuck” Lee and Janice Wilson. Charlie graduated from Slater High School with the class of ‘03. He worked as a mechanic for Deems Farm Equipment in Marshall for a number of years. On October 16, 2010, Charlie married Laurie Littrell at St. Mary Church in Glasgow. For the past nine years, Charlie worked as a large ag sales representative for Sydenstricker farm equipment in Salisbury, MO. He farmed with his dad for several years and also had his own operation for the past few years. Charlie never met a stranger, and he always had something to say. He was dedicated to his job like none other. His work family and customers were just as important to him as his own family. More than anything, Charlie enjoyed farming and being in the seat of his own tractor. Survivors include his wife Laurie, of the home; two children, Lowell Jonathan “L.J.” Lee and Demi Ann Lee; his parents, Chuck Lee of Gilliam, MO and Janice Wilson of Slater, MO; three sisters, Jamie (Brian) Cox of Jefferson City, MO, Katie (David Gustin) Lee of Slater, MO and Jenna (Robert Wood) Lee of Glasgow, MO; one brother, Ben (Madeline) Lee of Slater, MO; maternal grandmother, Barb Wilson of Illinois. Charlie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ray Wilson and his paternal grandparents, John and Jean Lee. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Thursday, February 12, 2021 at St. Mary Church in Glasgow, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the family only at St. Mary Church, with Fr. Joshua Duncan officiating. Facemasks are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Interment will be at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow. Memorial contributions are suggested to Charlie Lee Memorial Fund, for the benefit of L.J. and Demi Lee, in care of Commercial Trust Co. 119 N.
