Rural Harrisburg, MO resident, Ralph Evans, 64, passed away suddenly at his home on September 14, 2021. Ralph Allen Evans was born September 14, 1957 in Ventura, CA, a son to the late Clarence and Phyllis (Reichelsdorf) Evans. He graduated from Fayette High School with the class of 1975. Ralph worked in electronics repair as a technician most of his career. Ralph was a proud member of the ARRL, the American Radio Relay League. The ARRL is a national association for amateur radio, connecting ham radios around the country. Ralph was also a certified weather spotter. He had a passion for model trains and enjoyed collecting many models. He had worked at the Fayette Food Pantry when he was able and also attended Friendship Foursquares Church in New Franklin. Ralph is survived by his sister, Charlene (Dan) Larkin, of Harrisburg, MO, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Fayette City Cemetery, with Rev. Wayne Purvis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association, in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, 174 Hwy. 5 & 240 N., Fayette, MO 65248. A special thank you to Kevin Campbell, Rick Colley, Randy and Vonna Foley, Steve Hill, Wayne and Mary Russell and Frances Holst for all you did for Ralph as he was increasingly unable to do things for himself. Dr. Ramesh Khanna, you were a saint in Ralph’s eyes. Thank you all for caring, your kindness will not be forgotten.
