Glasgow resident, Pandora Miller, 67, passed away at Glasgow Gardens on December 6, 2021. Pandora Elizabeth Miller was born in Glasgow on May 9, 1954, a daughter to Wilbert L. and Elsie Mae (Cason) Minnis. Pandora graduated from Glasgow High School with the class of 1972. Pandora married John Taylor “J.T.” Miller on October 5, 1985. Together they enjoyed over 30 years of marriage. J.T. preceded Pandora in death on November 22, 2015. Pandora worked several jobs throughout her career but primarily worked as a caretaker for the Braun Home. She worked there for over 20 years. Pandora was a natural caretaker with her job and at heart. She took in and cared for several people as if they were her own, all out of the goodness of her heart. She was strong in her Christian faith. When she was able, Pandora enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. Survivors include her three children, James (Shelly) Herriford, of Boonville, MO, Curtis Herriford, of Glasgow, MO, and Teresa (Steven) Eubanks, of Fayette, MO; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Teresa Whitley, of Fayette, MO, Ruth Terrill, of Glasgow, MO and Aleta McCrary, of San Antonio, TX; five brothers, Wilbert Minnis, Jr., of Columbia, MO, Rodney Minnis, of Fayette, MO, Anthony Minnis, of Glasgow, MO, Dale Minnis, of Columbia, MO, and Leland Minnis, of Salisbury, MO; two special cousins, but Pandora referred to them as brothers, Dylan and Deautre Lee; and a special son and daughter, J’Von and Nicole Harvey. Pandora is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Pandora was preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Fretwell. A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Miller will be held at 1 PM, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, with Rev. Charles Wright officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service starting at noon. Interment will follow the service at Lincoln Cemetery in Glasgow.
