Glasgow, MO resident, Sally Tracy, 80, passed away at Brunswick Nursing and Rehab on May 14, 2022. Sally Mae Tracy was born March 2, 1942 in Slater, MO. She was one of eight children born to the late Charles Elmo and Violet Esther (Forqueran) Martin. She graduated from Slater High School with the class of 1960. Immediately following high school, Sally started her working career at the age of 18, working as a seamstress for Kellwood/American Rec. in Glasgow. Sally had an excellent work ethic. She continued working at Kellwood/American Rec for over 58 years. In her spare time, Sally loved to read, hunt, fish and do wordsearch puzzles. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis and playing bingo. Sally was a member of First Baptist Church of Slater. Survivors include her daughter, Kenna (Gayle) Pearman of Keytesville, MO; two grandchildren, Dusty Pearman and Tesa Pearman; five siblings, Gerald Martin of Boonesboro, MO, Genny Meyer of Glasgow, Anna Gauldin of Marshall, MO, Edna Blackwell of Glasgow and Carol (Robert Forrester) Coltharp of Slater. She is also survived by special friend and companion, Ronald Prentzler of Moberly, MO, and his children, John, James, Renee, and Anne Kendall, and their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Martin, and sister, Louise Bryant. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, with Rev. Earl Howell officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral home starting at 10 AM. Interment will be held at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow. Memorial contributions are suggested to Washington Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
